LugRadio Live UK 2008 Dates Announced

by | Fri 8 Feb 2008

Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls, I am pleased to announce that the [LugRadio Live UK 2008](https://lugradio.org/live/UK2008/start) dates have been finally confirmed, and the event to rule all other events will be taking place on the **19th and 20th July 2008** at the **Wolverhampton Union Student Union, Wolverhampton, England**. It is going to rock harder than an entire fleet of cars, being made out of rock, drag racing them at high speed and then driving them into the grand canyon. Rock, with a healthy chunk of roll, thrown in for good measure. 🙂

This is the same venue as where we held LugRadio Live UK 2006, and we have some incredible things planned for the event. Right now we are deep in LugRadio Live USA 2008 plans, but the ball is rolling for UK plans, so if you would like to speak, head over and see [this page](https://lugradio.org/live/UK2008/callforpapers). Also, if you would like to exhibit at LugRadio Live UK 2008, send us a mail to [show AT lugradio DOT org](mailto:showATlugradioDOTorg).

So, stick the dates in your diary, bring it on. 🙂

Ubuntu Governance Reboot: Five Proposals

Ubuntu Governance: Reboot?

Ubuntu Governance: Reboot?

For many years Ubuntu has had a comprehensive governance structure. At the top of the tree are the Community Council (community policy) and the Technical Board (technical policy). Below those boards are sub-councils such as the IRC, Forum, and LoCo councils, and...
